Demarcus Cousins center for the Sacramento Kings has been diagnosed with viral meningitis.
He has sat out the past five games from what his team was calling “a viral infection.” The kings said Sunday that his condition was stable and to expect a full recovery.
according to the center for disease control and preventions web sight “Meningitis is an inflammation of the tissue that covers the brain and spinal cord. Viral meningitis is the most common type of meningitis. It is often less severe than bacterial meningitis.”
